Pilot Butte Middle School’s Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) is launching a school wide campaign to raise funds to support our student body and the special programs they enjoy.  Pilot Butte Middle School is an extraordinary place with lots of history and tradition.  The PTSO would love your support in this campaign because, Together We Are GIANT.  We are one of only twelve schools in the state of Oregon with the honor of being an International Baccalaureate World School.  Our students and staff are working hard every day to meet the high standards of this program; which include a rigorous schedule of a required second language, art, and a technical design class.  Pilot Butte Middle School is striving to be a community of academic excellence, leadership, and character while embracing diversity and inspiring global thinking. Together We Are GIANT.

Let’s support our amazing students and staff and help them in their journey of excellence.  The Together We Are GIANT campaign is necessary to fund the following programs and items:

-Teacher Mini Grants used to enhance learning and innovation in the classroom

-Afterschool activities and clubs such as Math Club and Lego Robotics

-Meals and basic necessities for students and families in need

-Poet in Residence for all 8th Graders

-Battle of the Books statewide competition

-Design and Art class supplies

-Awards and Recognition for students

-Music Equipment

-Educational Field Trips

-8th Grade Graduation events and celebration

Just $10 from every student would support ALL of these programs.  We can do it! Because Together We Are GIANT! Let’s show our students and staff how much we appreciate them and all their hard work.  

Our fundraising goal for this campaign is $7,000.  Please contribute what you can to help us reach our goal. To contribute, you can go to www.bend.k12.or.us/pbms and click on the PTSO tab and pay with paypal or print and complete the response form and return to school by Friday, May 29, 2015
